The study began by presenting the efforts made by Lee Kuan Yu President of Singapore, to transfer this country from poverty and backwardness to wealth and progress in a way that drew the attention of the world and made it take Singapore as a model to follow. We divided the study into two parts : First , we dealt with the two main points that Li Kuan Yew adopted in bringing about the transition from poverty and backwardness to wealth and progress, which are mathematics and free reading, and we also dealt with the aspect of great interest in the teacher as the designer organizing the educational process, then we moved to the statement of the history of children’s literature, which gained great momentum in the recent period due to the increasing interest in this important type of literature that was generated by the initiative of A Singaporean writer and illustrator of children's books, and one of the most prominent writers of children's literature was Don Bosco. Second, we dealt with an analysis of two children's stories, the first of which is the ugly duckling, which is a story by the great writer Hans Christian Andersen. As for the second story It is titled as the arrogant tree. Then after these two stories, we moved on to two thematic books, the first of which bears the title What is science, as for the second book, it is entitled Magnetism as it takes the child into space to notice that the earth has two magnetic poles, namely the North Pole and the South Pole.
Finally, we reached the results and recommendations, the most prominent of which was the need to pay attention to mathematics as the basis of science, with an attractive, interesting and likable presentation for the child, and interest in continuous free reading, as well as interest in the teacher, training him, and giving him the fate that he deserves in society.
