Professor Dr. Imad Abu Ghazi: A man from the good old days

Abstract

Dr. Imad Abu Ghazi represents the pinnacle of sincere giving and great activity in multiple directions. This study seeks to provide a brief overview of his career, focusing on his intellectual output to explore his most prominent features. As well as an analysis of intellectual production in order to identify the scientific contribution of Imad Abu Ghazi and his subject orientations.
The study relies on the descriptive analytical method, the bibliometric method, and content analysis. It was possible to identify 127 items from his intellectual production, which extends over about fifty years, most of which were issued in Egypt, in addition to some items that were published in other Arab and foreign countries.
The intellectual product is published in magazines or presented to conferences, in addition to university theses, books, and parts of books. It has become clear that, by virtue of his studies, academic specialization, and activity in multiple directions, he has made distinguished contributions in four fields: documents and archives, history, culture, and the arts.
