The study aims to monitor and survey Arab and foreign literature on The Role of Public Libraries Specialists in the Treatment of Dyslexic Children; To contribute to spreading awareness of the importance of the topic, and ways to support public librarians to deal with these children who frequent public libraries, and to come up with numerical, qualitative and objective indicators of the subject literature from 1985 until the end of 2022, without being restricted to geographical boundaries, and relying on the descriptive approach in its survey style. It concluded with a set of results, perhaps the most prominent of which is the numerical superiority of foreign literature over its Arabic counterpart, and that the year 2014 had the highest rates of literature on dyslexia and treatment programs for dyslexia, and the year 2018 witnessed the highest rates of writing on the subject of providing services for children with dyslexia. Followed by the challenges of providing services of dyslexic children. Keywords: public libraries, library specialist, children’s dyslexia, learning difficulties.
