For this purpose, the researcher explored the reality of Yemeni libraries, information centers and documents, as knowing the reality of these information institutions will help in closely identifying the obstacles and problems facing this sector. The research aims to study the reality of Yemeni information institutions and to identify their information systems and technologies used, in addition to identifying the efforts made to qualify and prepare the manpower specialized in the field of libraries and information; Through this, the researcher will try to find the manifestations of deficiencies and deficiencies in the level of information services and the extent of their impact on the development and growth of the library and information sector in Yemen.
