The study aims to highlight the role of information technology in achieving integration between the technical skills of the workforce and information services. In the modern age, information technology has become an integral part of businesses and information institutions, significantly impacting the nature of work and communication across various sectors.
The study sought to verify its hypotheses and objectives of achieving integration between the technical skills of the workforce by designing a research questionnaire for employees and workers in information institutions. It utilized email, instant messaging, and online collaboration platforms to communicate with the study sample. The research employed analytical methods, equations, statistical, and mathematical techniques in the analysis process. The study found that the use of information technology contributes to improving and facilitating access to information and necessary resources for the workforce. Through the use of databases, content management systems, and search engines, employees can easily find the information and resources they need to perform their tasks effectively. This reduces search time and increases work efficiency. Additionally, information technology contributes to providing training and e-learning, thereby enhancing the technical skills of the workforce. Employees can benefit from online educational materials and remote training courses to develop their skills and learn new techniques. This helps in updating skills and keeping up with the rapid technological advancements in the job market.
