The study aims to investigate intellectual property rights practices in central libraries, using the Central Library at Al-Azhar University as an analytical model, by assessing the cognitive and functional levels of employees, monitoring the reality of professional practices, and exploring the extent to which modern technologies are employed in protecting intellectual property rights. The study also seeks to analyze training needs and identify the challenges that hinder the actual commitment to these rights; leading to the presentation of a comprehensive development strategy. The study also relied on the descriptive analytical approach Its community included workers in the Central Library at Al-Azhar University. The results of the study also showed a clear need to develop workers' skills in using artificial intelligence technologies to protect intellectual property rights, with a knowledge gap in investing in smart library management systems at a rate of (60%), while the study showed that there is an average trend towards directing beneficiaries to the legal use of resources at a rate of (53.33%), while the study showed that 60% The Central Library specialists did not play any role within the library regarding intellectual property rights practices, which is evidence of the absence of awareness initiatives. developing a comprehensive training plan covering legal, ethical and technical aspects, and improving the modern digital infrastructure Designing an integrated training program to enhance the professional competence of Central Library employees.
